THE VALLEY

The Valley is a unique 185 acre property nestled on a river with towering forest walls and river flats which wraps you in its arms and gives you a big, warm, wild hug. It is home to three different forest communities, wetlands, riparian zones and many of Tasmania's endangered or threatened species of flora and fauna. The Valley forest communities were placed under covenant in 2007 and became a private forest reserve as part of the national reserve scheme. It is a sanctuary and release site for local wildlife carers.

Nurturing and caring for The Valley has been a full time job and by purchasing this calendar you are helping fund the ongoing running costs of maintenance and weed control which will ensure that The Valley can thrive and flourish in it's natural state for future generations.
